AMAZON DEVICES BRAND STUDIO
Kindle Scribe Without Front Light
UX Design | Detail Page Creation | Device Launch
Tools
As part of the Kindle Scribe lineup launch, I helped design and build the detail page for the upcoming Kindle Scribe Without Front Light (2026 release). This project aimed to evolve the shopping experience for the Kindle category, introducing new layout structures and interaction patterns that better highlight key product features.
Design Thinking
Over a three-month period, I collaborated closely with art directors, stakeholders, and developers to bring the page to life in Figma. My role centered on shaping the user experience — ensuring the design system, hierarchy, and interactions guided customers smoothly through the story of the device.
I designed each content pack with the customer in mind, making key information about the new device easy to understand at a glance. Accessibility guided every decision — from ensuring strong color contrast to refining visual clarity and copy alignment in partnership with writers and visual designers.
Prototype & Handoff
I also helped prototype and implement new detail page components, maintaining usability and visual consistency while integrating updated functionality. Working with variants, responsive logic, and developer handoffs, I optimized the structure for clarity and scalability. Once approved, the design was uploaded through Journeys, Amazon’s internal publishing tool, helping deliver a cohesive, intuitive experience across platforms.
