Localized user interface design for the 2024 launch of Amazon’s Echo Hub

Ensuring a consistent and accessible multilingual experience.

As a designer, I adapted the Echo Hub’s interface for U.S. English and localized it for Canadian French and U.S. Spanish. Collaborating closely with Creative Directors, I managed multiple feedback rounds to ensure linguistic accuracy, spatial balance, and brand consistency across all three language versions. The final designs were delivered on time for the launch event, supporting a seamless multilingual experience for customers.

Design Thinking - Simplicity and accessibility.

The primary design goal was to maintain clarity and usability across languages while preserving the visual integrity of the original UI. I applied careful attention to text expansion and contraction, ensuring all localized elements fit naturally within the interface without compromising readability or hierarchy. By maintaining consistent visual rhythm, alignment, and spacing, each adaptation felt cohesive and intuitive.
